Databricks launches new Partner Connect portal and expands Lakehouse ecosystem

Databricks announced Databricks Partner Connect, a new portal designed to open and expand the Lakehouse ecosystem.

However, every business has a multitude of tools and data sources that must be connected, secure, and governed to enable every user within an organization to find, use, and share information-based information. data.

Putting it all together has historically been a burden on the client and partners, making it complicated and expensive to execute at any scale.

Partner Connect aims to make it easier for customers to integrate data, analytics and AI tools directly into their Databricks Lake.

The portal is designed to automatically configure resources such as clusters, tokens, and connection files for clients to connect with data ingestion, preparation and transformation, and BI and ML tools.

It enables customers to integrate with the data tools they already use and allows them to discover new pre-validated solutions from Databricks partners that complement their growing business needs, the company says.

Databricks CEO and Co-Founder Ali Ghodsi said, “With Partner Connect, we are able to open the Databricks Lakehouse platform to partners in new ways that will allow us to collectively better serve our customers.
