ReceiptHero joins Visa Fintech Partner Connect

ReceiptHero, which helps businesses digitize the customer onboarding process, has joined the Visa Fintech Partner Connect program, a program that helps connect Visa customers in Europe with vetted technology providers special.

The partnership strengthens the company’s relationship with Visa and provides access to new markets in Europe, ReceiptHero said in a Friday, August 12 announcement.

“Partnerships are at the heart of what we do, and Visa’s Fintech Partner Connect program allows us to reach more Visa customers and partners in next-level platform growth,” said Chris Moore, chief operating officer of ReceiptHero, in the announcement.

ReceiptHero provides merchants and issuers with real-time digital receipts, operating in European countries including Switzerland and Finland.

One benefit of ReceiptHero, the company says on its website, is that retailers can use the receipt process to initiate digital relationships with customers. ReceiptHero, according to the company’s website, removes the need for businesses to build their own loyalty apps for customers.

For cashiers, according to the company, the checkout process is unchanged and “delivery of receipts happens automatically in the background.”

“We’ve come so far in innovating digital payments and yet we’re only just beginning to see digital receipts becoming more widely available to cardholders,” said Federico Sanavio, director of Visa products and Fintech partnerships, in the announcement. “We chose ReceiptHero as our partner to connect merchants’ cash register and POS solutions to our customers’ digital channels, with the ultimate goal of accelerating the adoption of digital receipts across Europe. »

So far, ReceiptHero has been rolled out to around 3,000 outlets, according to the company.

The company, which says customers prefer digital receipts to paper receipts, says in its marketing materials that it has numerous safeguards in place to protect customer data.
